In August, Whales are most active and are often spotted with calves as they travel North up the East Coast of Australia.

'Can you imagine being in a small aeroplane passing over the Great Barrier Reef? You've just spotted some whales breaching from the distance. The plane is flying low and it spooks the whales under the water. You just just manage to see the tail fins in the air before they dive down. They are still visible through the crystal clear water and you can just make out a small calf. The wind on the water makes the sunlight dance like One Thousand tiny diamonds on the surface. Best trip ever.'
